Install PM Home on your phone

PM Home is a web app: there is nothing to download from a store. Add it to your home screen and it opens like a regular app, full screen.

Android (Chrome)

  1. 1Open pmhome.fun in Chrome.
  2. 2Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right.
  3. 3Choose “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.
  4. 4Confirm with “Install”. The icon appears among your apps.

iPhone and iPad (Safari)

  1. 1Open pmhome.fun in Safari. Chrome on iPhone cannot add apps to the home screen.
  2. 2Tap the Share button (a square with an arrow pointing up).
  3. 3Scroll down and choose “Add to Home Screen”.
  4. 4Tap “Add”.

Then open PM Home from the icon, enter your family code, pick your profile and enter your PIN. The code is remembered on the device unless you untick the box.

Phone notifications

After signing in, tap “Turn on notifications” (in Settings or the blue panel at the top) and allow. From then on your phone lights up and rings for new tasks, even when the app is closed. The bell inside the app shows the same notifications.

Android (Chrome)

  1. 1Tap “Turn on notifications” and choose “Allow”.
  2. 2If you declined: ⋮ → Site information (or the lock icon next to the address) → Notifications → Allow.
  3. 3Make sure Chrome notifications are on in Phone Settings → Apps → Notifications.
  4. 4To get sound and a lit screen, do not use Do Not Disturb or battery saver for Chrome/PM Home.

iPhone and iPad (iOS 16.4 or later)

  1. 1Notifications only work if PM Home was added to the Home Screen (steps above).
  2. 2Open the app from its icon, not from Safari.
  3. 3Tap “Turn on notifications” and choose “Allow”.
  4. 4If you declined: iPhone Settings → Notifications → PM Home → Allow Notifications. Also check that a Focus mode is not on.
